ヨシノミナコ
Minako Yoshino
京都生まれ。高校生の時、ロックバンド、オリジナルポップスバンドのボーカルとして活動を始める。同志社大学入学後、並行してA Nミュージックスクールにて2年間学ぶ。18歳でジャズクラブに出演する。
大学卒業後カナダのモントリオールのコンコルディア大学音楽科にて学ぶ。カナダ国内、アメリカのジャズワークショップを多数受講。
帰国後オールオリジナル楽曲アルバム「SixStorieS」「Sketch InsideS」をリリース。全編英詞のオリジナル楽曲とスタンダードを主なレパートリーとし、ライブハウス、ジャズハウス、ジャズフェスティバル、ホテルでのラウンジ演奏やディナーショーなど年間２００本以上の演奏をつとめる。
2018年にはオリジナル楽曲を演奏しN H K京都に出演、その他ラジオにも出演。2020年には３枚目のアルバム「The Sun will Rise」をリリース。ジャンルに拘らない音楽を作っている。ボイストレーナー、英作詞家、詞の翻訳家としても活動している。
Born in Kyoto. Started her career as a vocalist for a rock band and an original pop band in high school. After entering Doshisha University, she studied at A N Music School for 2 years. Appeared in a jazz club at the age of 18.
After graduating from university,Yoshino studied at the Department of Music at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada while attending many jazz workshops in Canada and the United States.
After returning to Japan, the all-original music albums "SixStorieS" and "Sketch InsideS" were released. With original songs and standards of all English lyrics as her main repertoire, Yoshino performed more than 200 performances a year, including live houses, jazz houses, jazz festivals, lounge performances at hotels, and dinner shows.
In 2018, Yoshino performed original songs and appeared in N H K Kyoto, and also appeared on the radio. The third album "The Sun will Rise" which was her 3rd album was released in 2020.
At present she also works as a voice trainer in major productions, an English lyricist, and a lyric translator.
Yoshino is currently in the process of her 4th album and is deeply interested in making music regardless of genre.
